Education: Purdue University Hometown: Kokomo, In Pets: Russ and Bizzy (poodles) and Ivy(cat) Melissa was born and raised in Kokomo and graduated from Kokomo High School in 2002. She went on to Purdue University where she graduated in 2006 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Technology. She became a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2006. She started as a volunteer in our volunteer program at the age of 13 and was hired as a animal care assistant in March 2000 and has enjoyed working with animals ever since. Melissa is currently our Inventory Manager.

Melissa is married to her husband Brian since 2011 and they have 1 daughter named Amelia. Melissa and Brian enjoy watching Purdue sports and hanging out with her friends and family. She also enjoys spending time outside and working in the yard and gardening. She and Brian share their home with her two Poodles, Russ and Bizzy, and one cat, Ivy.
